What is Lipo-C?
Lipo-C is a multi-ingredient lipotropic solution supplied at 120mg/ml in 10ml vials. Each ml contains Methionine 15mg, Choline Chloride 50mg, L-Carnitine 50mg and Dexpanthenol 5mg.
Mechanism of Action
Lipotropic compounds support hepatic fat metabolism: methionine and choline assist lipid export from the liver, L-carnitine transports fatty acids into mitochondria for oxidation, and dexpanthenol (pro-vitamin B5) is a precursor of coenzyme A.
Research Applications
Lipo-C is studied in research on fat metabolism, hepatic lipid handling and energy production.
Storage & Handling
Supplied as a sterile solution. Store at 2–8°C, protected from light. Inspect each vial before use and discard if the solution is cloudy or discoloured.
